Analog Lines
Analog lines for everything that still needs a dial tone.
Not every device speaks VoIP. Fax machines, alarm panels, elevator phones, and many other pieces of equipment expect a plain analog line. Valley VoIP provides analog lines nationwide.
What an analog line is
An analog line is the traditional telephone line: one number, one dial tone, and one call at a time. It is often called a POTS line, for plain old telephone service. Any standard telephone or analog device can be plugged into it and used at once, with nothing to configure.
What analog lines are used for
Many organizations run their main phones on a modern system but keep a handful of analog lines for specific equipment. Fax machines, fire and burglar alarm panels, elevator emergency phones, gate and door entry systems, credit card terminals, postage meters, and overhead paging systems are all commonly connected to analog lines.
Simple needs, simple service
For a small office, a retail counter, a warehouse, or a guard booth that needs one or two phones, an analog line is sometimes all that is required. It is simple, familiar, and dependable.
When copper lines become a problem
Across the country, telephone carriers are retiring their old copper networks, and the price of traditional copper lines has risen sharply as a result. If your analog lines have become expensive, or your carrier has told you they will be discontinued, our analog line replacement service delivers the same dial tone without the copper.
